A Clear Direction After Election Day

Posted by Angela Winters

Like everyone else, I was confused by the vast contradictions of the exit polls and the actual results of this election. If I were the news stations, I would want my money back. For all the excitement, waiting and tension, somehow I fell asleep at 10:30. When I woke up at midnight, I was like "Oh hell, here we go." Then, this morning I felt a little better about it. I don't think this will drag out for another couple of months.

Posted by Robert Crane

One of C-SPAN’s questions for “open lines” recently was “who’s stronger in National Security, Republicans or Democrats” (i.e., who will keep us safer). Callers weighed in on three different telephone lines (i.e., Republican, Democrat, and Independent). The host picked up calls in rotation, each line getting its turn; very democratic quite honestly. It’s what C-SPAN does best to the unbridled joy and wild accolades of its small but loyal audience.

Rayburn Building in Washington DC Shuts Down Due to Gunfire

Posted by Lance Winslow

A car may have backfired in the top floor of the Rayburn Building in Washington DC or perhaps some fire crackers, but when an anonymous phone call stated that they heard gunfire; they shut down the Building. Then they locked the doors and shut down the place. But what really happened?
